asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether he will have discussions concerning the establishment of a unified police force in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Negotiations are being conducted with a view to forming a new Irish Government, and it would be wrong to comment before that process has been completed.
