§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Employment if his local office will make special facilities available in Newham to deal with redundancies resulting from the closure of facilities for initial teacher training at North-East London polytechnic.
§ Mr. Peter MorrisonI do not know of any proposals for staff to be made redundant at the North-East London polytechnic. Should the situation arise, the Manpower Services Commission will do all it can to assist those affected.
