asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will seek to meet Dr. A. M. Obote, President of Uganda, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern.

We are always glad to have discussions with Commonwealth leaders, but I have at present no plans to seek a meeting with President Obote.
