§ Mr. PattieThe transition of the Royal ordnance factories to a Companies Act company will mean that staff in the organisation will cease to be civil servants. It is too soon to predict the effect on terms and conditions of employment. These will be negotiated with the trade unions and as a first step a consultative document has been issued.
