§ Mr. David Atkinsonasked the Secretary of State for Transport what arrangements are being made to meet preliminary expenses in connection with the proposals for the sale of shares in the British Transport Docks Board.
§ Mr. David HowellParliamentary approval for preliminary expenses of up to £600,000 is being sought in the winter Supplementary Estimates for a new Vote, sale of shares in Associated British Ports, Class VI, Vote 6. Pending that approval, any necessary expenditure will be met by repayable advances from the Contingencies Fund.
