§ Mr. Greenwayasked the Secretary of State for Social Services why N.P. 32 "Your Retirement Pension" booklet fails to advise pensioners that intent to engage in employment automatically precludes them from entitlement to a State pension; and if he will publish an amended version.
§ Mr. RossiLeaflet NP32 is amended every year and the latest version was issued in October 1982. It makes clear that one does not have to give up work completely to be treated as having retired, and sets out in part 2 the circumstances in which paid employment is consistent with receipt of retirement pension.
