§ Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will reduce the 1982 freezer trawlers' sectoral quota and correspondingly increase the allocation to the rest of the United Kingdom pelagic fleet.
§ Mr. YoungerThe freezer trawlers' sectoral quotas of mackerel and herring for 1982 have been set with the aim of maintaining a fair balance between this and other sectors of the fleet. The quota shares to be allocated to the various sectors of the industry in future will be the subject of a thorough review before the 1983 season.
