§ Mr. Murphyasked the Prime Minister what representations she has received from members of the public about Her Majesty's Government's policy on the 192W Falkland Islands; to what extent those representations have supported the prinicples of (a) complete withdrawal of Argentine forces, (b) return of the islands to full British administration and (c) self-determination for the inhabitants; and if she will make a statement.
§ The Prime MinisterI have received up to 4,500 letters on this subject in each of the last seven weeks. The vast majority have supported the policy followed by the Government.
