§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, in view of the extensive use of the halls of residence of Hamilton college of education by students attending institutions of higher learning throughout Strathclyde, he will take steps to ensure that they remain available for this purpose.
§ Mr. YoungerAfter the present session there will be no college of education students requiring accommodation at Hamilton. It is not the responsibility of Jordanhill college, which now owns the property, to provide accommodation for students of other establishments. Any body which wishes to acquire the property, whether for use by students or for other purposes, should approach Jordanhill college as soon as possible.
