§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Secretary of Slate for Defence, pursuant to his answer on 11 February, Official Report, columns 418–19, when HMS "Dreadnought" will be defuelled and de-equipped; and what secure moorings will be available in which areas to accommodate the sealed hulk after Chatham dockyard is closed.
§ Mr. WigginWork on defuelling and de-equipping HMS "Dreadnought" has already started at Chatham and is expected to be completed in the first half of 1983. Studies are in hand to determine the best location for laying up the vessel, and the outcome of these will be announced in due course.
