§ Sir Keith JosephI strongly support local education authorities and schools in their efforts to maintain high standards of discipline. I have no evidence, however, that authorities are looking to me for guidance in this matter.
§ 44. Mr. Michael Brownasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will seek to include under the provisions relating to information as to schools and admission arrangements contained in the Education Act 1980, the means of enforcing discipline in that school.
