§ Mr. BrittanThere are already 10 enterprise zones in operation offering a number of tax concessions. One is at Speke. A further one at the Isle of Dogs is expected to come into operation next month. These enterprise zones are an experiment, and it is too soon to take decisions about increasing the number of them. The existing inward processing relief procedures offer all the customs facilities permitted under EEC directives, and these are already available throughout the United Kingdom.
