§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Prime Minister what consideration was given to the fact that 7 June is the opening day of the special session on disarmament of the United Nations when Her Majesty's Government recommended the dates of President Reagan's State visit to the United Kingdom; and if she will recommend the date of the visit be altered.
§ The Prime MinisterThe Government welcome the fact that it has proved possible to find dates for President Reagan to come to Britain in the course of his European tour this summer. I see no reason why the President's visit should affect the importance of the United Nations Special Session on Disarmament.
