§ Mr. Peter MorrisonPresent plans for the financial year 1982–83 envisage that 483 adults will enter training courses under the training opportunities scheme in Cornwall. Although some may receive elements of training covering electronic applications as part of their courses, there are no courses specifically concerned with electronics or other new technologies. Electronics courses are however available in Plymouth and Torquay and suitably qualified people from all parts of the country may apply for places on all higher level TOPS electronics courses.
