§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Prime Minister whether, in view of the announcement of the official declaration of the fall of the military junta in Argentina and an announcement that action is to be taken towards the establishment of democracy in that country, she will offer the assistance of Her Majesty's Government in achieving these aims.
§ The Prime MinisterWe naturally welcome the promise of more representative Government in Argentina and will be watching developments closely. It is not for us to become involved in the internal affairs of another country, and I do not think this would be the most auspicious moment to offer the assistance the hon. Gentleman suggests.
