§ Mr. Clinton Davisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will list the countries where Her Majesty's Government have made representations since May 1979 concerning the death, torture or ill-treatment of British subjects at the hands of official authorities.
§ Mr. RifkindYes. While we are aware of very few cases of death, torture or physical ill-treatment of British subjects, the hon. Gentleman will appreciate that such a list will require considerable research. I shall write to him when the information is available.
