§ Mr. Michael Spicerasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will list the funds available for the assistance of widows and dependants of Service men killed or injured in Northern Ireland comparable to the recently-established South Atlantic Fund.
§ Mr. WigginThe Army Benevolent Fund administers a special relief fund which over the years has met the needs of soldiers, ex-soldiers and dependants who have suffered as a result of action in Northern Ireland. Royal Navy/Royal Marines and Royal Air Force personnel are eligible for assistance from the King George's Fund for Sailors and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund respectively.
