§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what is his policy on the development of the dental team concept of training therapists, auxiliaries and dental students in an harmonious programme.
§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergI accept the view of the Royal Commission on the National Health Service that the training of ancillaries should take place alongside that of dental students but, subject to the approval of the General Dental Council, development of training programmes would be a matter for the university dental schools and other bodies providing the training.
