§ Mr. Donald Stewartasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give figures to show how much of Scotland is now covered by the land registration system.
§ Mr. YoungerCompulsory registration of sales of heritable property under the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 came into effect for the county of Renfrew on 6 April 1981. Up to 5 June 1982, 7,462 units of property had been so registered. The next extension of the land register will be to the county of Dunbarton on 4 October 1982.
