HC Deb 30 July 1982 vol 28 c797W
Mr. Peter Robinson

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what consultations he has had with the Royal Ulster Constabulary and others regarding the enforcement of the law against squatting.

Mr. John Patten

My right hon. Friend keeps all matters affecting the maintenance of the law in Northern Ireland under review. He is now considering whether new legislation on squatting is required. My hon. Friend the Member for Basingstoke (Mr. Mitchell) will be writing to the hon. Member.
