§ Mr. WaldegraveNone of the national museums is entirely self-financing. The contribution made by revenue earning to the running costs of the national museums and their out stations varies between one institution and another. The policy of my right hon. Friend the Minister for the Arts is to encourage them to take opportunities to develop their income whenever possible and appropriate.
