§ Mr. Fieldasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will place in the Library a copy of any document regulating the administrative arrangements to be observed when local authorities and offices of the Department of Health and Social Security co-operate in dealing with claims for the new housing benefit.
§ Mr. RossiI will shortly be placing in the Library a copy of the circular to local authorities giving detailed advice on the implementation of the housing benefits scheme, including liaison arrangements with DHSS local offices.
§ Mr. Fieldasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what he estimates will be the figures for general levels of rent for the purposes of paragraphs 1 and 2, schedule 4, of the draft Housing Benefits Regulations 1982.
§ Mr. RossiApprovals for the high rent provisions will run from November to November. I am not able to estimate the thresholds that will apply in November 1983, following the introduction of the housing benefits scheme.
