§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether in view of the communication sent to him by the hon. Member for Newham, North-West dated 22 July, giving details of further maladministration and neglect upon the part of the Metropolitan Police, he will request the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis to improve greatly the administration of the Metropolitan Police so far as security arrangements for Her Majesty's subjects are concerned.
