§ Mr. WaldegraveIn the academic year 1980–81, the latest for which figures are available, a calculation on the basis suggested would have resulted in reductions, as compared with the current maximum rates, of £340 for 569W students living in London, £285 for students living elsewhere, and £225 for students living in the parental home.
