Friend the Prime Minister announced on 13 July—[Vol. 27, c.341]—following discussion amongst the 10 member Governments of the European Community, we are not approving the sale of military equipment to Israel at present. Decisions on other forms of defence co-operation with Israel are being taken on a case by case basis.
