§ Mr. Wrigglesworthasked the Prime Minister if she will review the level of pay for computer staff in the Government service in the light of the comments in paragraph 28 of her statement on the recommendations of the Security Commission.
§ The Prime MinisterWe have already increased the pay and allowances of qualified computer staff engaged in automatic data processing in the Civil Service by up to 18 per cent. this year, and the subsequent recruitment and retention position is being kept under review.
