HC Deb 23 July 1982 vol 28 c342W
Mr. Shersby

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment when the works currently in progress at Richmond Terrace, Westminster, are likely to be completed; and what future use is intended for the houses involved.

Sir George Young

While no work is currently in progress at Richmond Terrace, work will start in the autumn to provide a reinforced concrete frame to stabilise the facades of the terrace in preparation for its reconstruction.

I hope shortly to make a further statement about the next steps.
