§ Mr. Colvinasked the Secretary of State fur the Environment if he will make a statement on the recent meeting between the Minister for Local Government and Environmental Services and the local authorities management services and computer committee.
§ Mr. KingRepresentatives of the local authority associations and LAMSAC met me on 19 July to discuss my proposal that the Department's grant to LAMSAC should cease at the end of the 1982–83 financial year. They asked that grant should be paid for a further year. I am considering the points put to me and I shall write to my hon. Friend when I have reached a decision on this matter.
