asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) whether, in the revision of British Standards code of practice CP152, he will ensure that all glass doors, side lights and panels within 30 inches of the floor or ground are to be safety glazed;

(2) whether, in view of the contribution of safety glazing to reducing accidents, he will make the British Standards code of practice CP152, concerning safety glazing, mandatory in all building regulations.
