§ Mr. Morganasked the Attorney-General what percentage of contested criminal cases in the Crown Court, in which he was responsible for nominating prosecuting 167W counsel, resulted in (a) the conviction of the full offence, or offences, for which the defendant was indicted, (b) the conviction of a lesser offence, or offences, than the one(s) for which the defendant was indicted or (c) the total acquittal of the offence, or offences, for which the defendant was indicted.
