§ Mr. Hooleyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what was the outcome of the ministerial session of the World Food Council in Acapulco, in particular on the subject of grain reserves and world food security.
§ Mr. Neil MartenA copy of the official report of the World Food Council has been placed in the Library. The proposal for a developing country-owned grain reserve to help solve the problems of world food security was discussed, but a number of questions were raised about its economic and technical feasibility and it was remitted for further study.
