§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether all claimants of unemployment benefit are issued automatically with a B1 form for claiming supplementary benefit.
§ Mr. NewtonAll claimants are automatically given leaflet SB1, which explains the rules governing the payment of supplementary benefit and what to do to claim it. Instructions to staff in unemployment benefit offices provide that any claimant not in receipt of supplementary allowance who wishes to claim that benefit is to be issued with form B1.
