(3) if, notwithstanding his decision to proceed to series ordering of the pressurised water reactor, he intends to promote the construction of a commercial fast breeder reactor.

§ Mr. John MooreThe total expenditure incurred to date on development of the fast reactor is some £900 million. I am asking the deputy chairman of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority to write to the hon. Member giving him the annual breakdown of this figure.
