§ Mr. Morganasked the Secretary of State for Wales what proposals he has in mind for the re-siting in Llanwrst, Gwynedd, of the livestock market if and when the present one is displaced by the proposed new bypass of the town, the route whereof he has recently approved.
§ Mr. Michael RobertsThe Llanwrst bypass is at an early stage of preparation. The statutory processes have yet to be undertaken and the scheme is not scheduled for a start until after 1987. Properties which may be affected by the scheme will be eligible for compensation assessed in accordance with the usual principles and it is, in the first instance, for the owners of the cattle market to consider at the appropriate stage the question of an alternative site.
