§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales how many persons in his Department there are now involved (a) wholly and (b) for pail of their time in the preparation of parliamentary answers; and how this compares with the corresponding figures for March 1979.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsRecords are not kept of the time spent by staff in preparing answers to parliamentary questions; it is not possible therefore to make a comparison with March 1979. No member of staff is wholly employed on the preparation of answers, but a large number devote part of their time to this work.
