§ Mr. HayhoeCivil servants may be dismissed for disciplinary reasons, discharged for failure satisfactorily to complete a period of probation or retired prematurely on grounds of inefficiency, limited efficiency, structure, redundancy or ill health. The following table shows the number of all such terminations from the non-industrial home civil servants for the period 1979 to 1981. No similar information about industrial grades is available centrally.
