Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will publish in the Official Report a detailed list of British subjects now arrested and in prison overseas awaiting trial; in what countries they are being held; and for how long each of these has been in prison.

There is no record in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of approaches having been made to Her Majesty's Government to ascertain the whereabouts of Dr. Hector Eugenio Talbot-Wright. I am having further inquiries made and shall write to my hon. Friend as soon as possible.

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action has been taken by Her Majesty's Government to ascertain the whereabouts of Leslie Ricardo Moore McCormick, arrested by the police in Buenos Aires on 27 July 1976 and subsequently handed over to the military authorities; and what has happened to the habeas corpus writ served by his family
