§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Energy what is his policy towards giving consent to the laying of a gas pipeline through controlled waters from the Continent to the United Kingdom to permit the passage of European gas to flow to customers who will be eligible to receive it under clause 12 of the Oil and Gas (Enterprise) Bill.
§ Mr. GrayI would consider any such pipeline application according to the procedure laid down in the Petroleum and Submarine Pipe-Lines Act 1975.
