§ Mr. Dalyell
asked the Lord Privy Seal if he has figures, conveniently available, to show the approximate number of tractors purchased with money given by way of overseas aid.
§ Mr. Neil Marten
Details of numbers are not readily available. The amount of British bilateral capital aid spent on non-road tractors in 1979 was £3.3 million and in 1980 £2.1 million. This does not include any purchases out of budgetary aid, out of aid money given to multilateral aid organisations, or out of Government contributions to the voluntary agencies.234W
