§ 36. Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he is satisfied that section 50 of the British Telecommunications Act 1981 provides adequate safeguards in relation to the release by British Telecom of information relating to the telephone records of individuals to third parties.
§ Mr. WakehamSection 50 of the British Telecommunications Act 1981 does not relate to the confidentiality of telephone records which, however, is covered by the Official Secrets Act.
