§ Mr. StanleyFollowing the review of the first six months of the scheme's operation, proposals for change were prepared. My right hon. Friend published a consultation paper on the subject on 19 December 1980, and on 21 September 1981 draft regulations for a new scheme for building control fees were published for comment. We are currently considering the responses to those consultations.
