§ Mr. KingThe Greater London Council has recently notified my Department of a revision of its budgeted total expenditure for rate support grant purposes for 1981–82 to a figure of £455.8 million outturn. My right hon. Friend will shortly be laying before the House a supplementary report which will determine the various parameters for grant distribution in the current year. On the basis of these redeterminations and the GLC's revised budget, its grant entitlement for 1981–82 will be £139.4 million, or 30.6 per cent. of its revised budget. My Department does not have comprehensive information on the GLC's total revenue.
