§ Q25. Mr. Andrew F. Bennettasked the Prime Minister if she will take steps to restore the level of retirement pension to that which would have resulted from an uprating in line with prices or earnings, whichever increased the most, from November 1979 to November 1981.
§ The Prime MinisterI have no plans to change the existing Government commitment to retirement pensioners that they will be fully protected against inflation.
