§ Mr. Madelasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, following representations made to him by the hon. Member for Bedfordshire, South he is able to make a statement concerning the chief constable of Bedfordshire's proposals for an increase in the establishment of the Bedfordshire police force.
§ Mr. WhitelawI shall be considering the applications from Bedfordshire together with those received from other police authorities.
