§ Mr. Rookerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if the long term rate of supplementary benefit available to unemployed men over 60 years who de—register at a jobcentre will be subject to income tax after 5 July, in view of the long term rate of supplementary benefit being above the personal allowances.
