§ Mr. HeseltineI am considering the future of this establishment as part of a study on the organisation and funding of construction research. I have asked the building and civil engineering committees of the Economic Development Council for advice on this. I have agreed with the chairman of the building committee that I will not take any final decision on the role and status of the Building Research Establishment until I have considered his report.
