§ Mr. Patrick McNair-Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will publish details of those occasions since 1966 on which applications for the grant of a right under section 1 of the Mines (Working Facilities and Support) Act 1966 were referred to the court as set out in section 4 of the said Act.
§ Mr. MacGregorThere have been eight such references to the High Court. Six of these were settled out of court, one was upheld by the High Court but subsequently overturned on appeal, and one remains to be heard.
