§ Mr. Michael McGuireasked the Secretary of State for Transport what is his policy towards the exercise at present being undertaken by certain local authorities and metropolitan county councils to find suitable sites for rail and road freight interchanges; how much financial assistance will be made available by him to develop such sites; and whether any special help will be given for such development in assisted areas such as the Ince county.
