§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if in view of the projected closure of the department of experimental chemical pathology at Westminster medical school, he will commission work from that Department.
§ Mr. Geoffrey FinsbergThe department of experimental chemical pathology is part of the Westminster Medical School and not therefore the responsibility of the NHS. Arrangements are being made by the health district responsible for the Westminster hospital to ensure that the work performed by the department directly for local hospitals services should continue if the medical school closes the Department.
