§ Mr. MayhewThis Department is collaborating with the Schools Council and the National Mutual Life Association of Australasia Ltd., in the development of a teaching package on law and order for use in secondary schools; and, with the Association for the Prevention of Theft in Shops, in the production of three films on the consequences of burglary, shoplifting and vandalism for use by schools and the police, to which we are contributing £8,000 and £25,000 respectively. "The Story of Our Police", a teaching package widely used in junior schools, is being reprinted at a cost of £30,000.
